Card Organizer
This is a super way to organize the cards that you make from your scrapbooking SCRAPS! Thanks to Creative Memories and their Power Sort Mini (retail price just $12), plus a sticker pack in black (just $4.50), you can make this quick project for under $20 and get yourself organized at the same time!
Thomas Toots Ayla is 2!
No surprise here. I love to scrapbook. Most of my pages are "just get er done," but I took some time on this one. I made a Percy train for Ayla's best buddy for his birthday and it took me a while before I wanted to duplicate it for Ayla. I finally found the creative juices today while Ayla was napping and am pretty proud of the result. All it is is cardstock and time. Love it! No, it isn't really faithbooking, but it is cute, if I do say so myself!
Mini Everyday Display {by Anne}
This gem is magnetic with a beautiful frame and holds an 8 x 8 scrapbook page or photos. It comes with 4 decorative magnets and 2 mini clothespins to hold your memorabilia on the attached ribbon, plus a decorative black screw for hanging. It has a removable stand on the back to display on a table-top as well. It compliments any decor and can be changed every season or every week! ASK ME how to get one for your home today--you'll love it!
Here you see the components that come with your Mini Everyday Display (4 black decorative magnets, 2 mini clothespins in black, and the decorative black screw) and how little materials you need to make a cute display (shown are items from CM's Disney Vacation Kit). It literally took about 10 minutes to gather my supplies and put it together (see picture above for finished result). You can use the magents to make it temporary, or more permanent by assembling an 8 x 8 scrapbook page to be put into an album at a later time. I love the versatility!
Here is another example of a quick use for the display--this is just 2 photos and some Disney memorabilia hooked on with the mini clips. This view shows the display hanging from the decorative black screw (comes with it!).

31 Days and Ways to Pray for Your Children
Are you praying specifically and purposefully for your children or grandchildren? Do you have loads of photos of your loved ones in a box? Bring at least 31 photos and complete a fun and easy project that is great for a beginner scrapbooker and skilled alike. This album will not go on the shelf. It will be where you can see it all day and will spur you on in prayer for your children or grandchildren to develop Christ's attributes while putting to use those forgotten photos.
This book is truly a wonderful keepsake. I have mine on display on a stand so that I see it daily. I wanted to share a few layouts from it so that you can get an idea of what it looks like (sorry for the flash--it's a rainy day!). {Anne} Beth's is similar (with more goodies added to hers).
Read the scriptures for each day of the month by clicking on the title "31 Days and Ways to Pray for Your Children" in pink along the top right of our home page!

Zoo Animal Mini Book {by Anne}
Make this book during a short class --for beginners on up. A child of 12 or older could also make it with a little help from mom or grandma!
Made with three paper bags (lunch size), there is a cover plus 5 interior spreads and 3 pull-out pages. This is not an archival project, but the paper used that is against your photos is acid-free. Class kit includes paper sheets to cover pages in a variety of animal prints (giraffe, zebra, pink feathers, snake skin, etc.). You will have one print leftover (so if you have girls like I do, you might elect to omit the snake print, or for boys, leave out the pink feathers). This project lends itself well to trips to the zoo, visits to bear workshops, pictures of animals (real or otherwise), or children acting like animals. It's a fun little album, and since it is so quick and inexpensive to put together, you don't have to worry about the little hands holding it!
I posed my daughters with pictures taken with their animals from all of their visits to Build-a-Bear workshop over the years, and I had them journal on the pull-out pages about their animals.
You will need:
*Your own paper cutter and pen
*Your adhesive (if you have a preference--if not, I feel scrapbook glue sticks work best with this project)
*10-16 pictures printed at half-size (2 photos to a 4x6 print, so each photo is 3x4). At least 3 of the photos must be vertical, but the rest can be oriented whichever way you prefer. 10 will be on the pages, and up to 6 can be included on the pull-out pages if you prefer more photos rather than more journaling. (You might elect to use your adhesive with the pictures.)
Class kit includes: 3 bags, 6 animal print papers (8 1/2 x 11), 3 cardstock pages (8 1/2 x 11-to make pullout pages and tags, eyelets and cord (binding), ribbon and brads (make journal tag pockets on 3 spreads. Also included is the use of Anne's Crop-a-dile and regular hole punch, circle hand punch, and Sizzix machine (personalize your cover with whatever title you like), plus a mini-monogram stamp to put your name or other message on your work. These will be available at the class location.
Monthly crop second Friday of each month--you and a few friends can make this project then! Contact me for details!
