Making Crosses (at Christmas) {by Anne}

I've made many layouts centered around Christmas and Easter each year, plus my older daughter's baptism, all of which included faith and faith references. I've also made the prayer album (mentioned in a previous post), which is displayed in my home office (where I will see it everyday and remember to pray for my children while they are at school--a wonderful tool to help me to pray for different things for them). I've not, however, made a CONSCIOUS effort to include scripture on my more everyday pages until more recently, so here is one of my "early" efforts, making gifts during Christmas season 2007:

The scripture (in the circle) says:

May I never boast except
in the cross of our Lord
Jesus Christ, through whom
the world has been crucified
to me, and I to the world.
~Galatians 6:14, NIV

The paper is from EK Success’s Simply Seasonal Inspirables collection (I like that it isn’t “in your face” with red and green, but more of a pink and meadow green). Flower is Prima, and the staples (they say “love” and “joy”) are also by EK Success, for the Fastenater. You can click on the photo of the layout (LO) to see in in a larger size.
